Founded in the early 1970's by Billy Cooper, Cooper Stone is a mining operation at heart. Much of the modern day machinery used for mining and processing full thickness building limestone was invented right here. That tradition continued when brothers Micah and Matthew Flippen led Cooper Stone to become the first quarry in America to cut natural stone thin veneer at full scale production. Now, owners Micah Flippen, Neil Abraham, and AJ Pucek are taking Cooper Stone to the next level in national sales and distribution.
